What You’ll Do

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new customers in targeted segments (e.g., restaurant groups, snack food manufacturers).
  • Leverage buyer personas and market data to create entry strategies into new geographies or product categories.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers such as procurement leaders, category managers, and chefs by offering education, insights, and value.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales operations to personalize outreach, create proposals, and optimize CRM workflows.
  • Partner with internal teams (supply chain, QA, marketing) to craft custom solutions and address customer challenges.
  • Maintain and grow a healthy opportunity pipeline using HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive activity, and customer shifts to inform strategy and messaging.

Requirements

 What You Bring

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in foodservice, CPG, or ingredient manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of winning and growing mid-sized to large accounts.
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling and solution creation.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder — able to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a bias toward action and a knack for finding creative solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and using data to drive decisions.
