CMA (FT) | Adult Medicine | Ames | 2025-235 bei McFarland Clinic

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Adult Medicine department in Ames. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: patient interaction in-person, on my chart and on the phone, rooming, vitals, medication refills, medication prior authorizations. 

Education

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants

Certification/License

• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
• Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Monday - Friday. One afternoon out

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

• Clinic experience preferred. 
• EMR experience preferred. 

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
