Education Abroad administers academic year, semester, and summer study abroad programs hosted by Temple’s overseas campuses in Italy and Japan; offered through exchange and other institutional partners around the globe and developed and led by Temple faculty members. Enrolling and serving an average of 1300 Temple and non-Temple students a year, the Education Abroad team is committed to providing transformative global learning experiences that prepare the diverse students from Temple and our U.S. partner institutions to develop as engaged global citizens, collective problem-solvers, and leaders in their chosen field.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22font-family:%26quot;Arial%26quot;,sans-serif;font-size:16px;%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22line-height:115%;%22%3EThe Assistant Director for Program Development facilitates program development and renewal of study abroad programs under the direction of the Senior Associate Director; advances curriculum integration of study abroad across the university; and supports assessment and evaluation of education abroad.%3Co:p%3E%3C/o:p%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cp class=%22MsoNormal%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22font-family:%26quot;Arial%26quot;,sans-serif;font-size:16px;%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22line-height:115%;%22%3EThe Assistant Director will collaborate with program leaders, partner programs and institutions, and education abroad staff to develop and implement faculty-led programs, including outlining program itinerary and dates, course offerings and content, policies and procedures, budgets, marketing and recruitment plans, and assessment.
