Job Summary:
This Position is Mobile within a radius of 70 miles around 74401 including Tahlequah and surrounding areas.

Our experienced team utilizes innovative treatments, including the application of advanced wound care technologies, to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Experienced EMT/AEMT/Paramedic to join our mobile team. In this role, you will provide critical support in wound management, assisting in assessments, treatments, and patient education. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive wound care services, promoting healing and patient safety in diverse healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting thorough wound assessments and document findings accurately.
- Support the application of wound care treatments and dressings as directed by supervising medical staff.
- Provide basic wound care, including cleaning and dressing of wounds, as per established protocols.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition or signs of infection and communicate findings to the medical team.
- Educate patients and their families regarding proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
- Maintain inventory of wound care supplies and ensure proper management of equipment.
- Adhere to infection control policies and healthcare safety regulations.
- Travel to various patient locations and deliver care in a community setting, ensuring a timely and dependable service.
Requirements
- Current EMT, AEMT or Paramedic certification in the state of Oklahoma.
- Prior experience in emergency medical services or wound care is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong sense of initiative.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in basic medical procedures and knowledge of wound care best practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems.
