Description

The Office of Student Experience is seeking an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join the Susie’s team. This student-run store offers a dynamic environment where team members help shape a vibrant and engaging shopping experience. This role provides hands-on experience in retail operations, marketing, and customer engagement—ideal for students looking to build transferable skills for any career path.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with merchandise selection and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system (preferably Shopify) with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support marketing efforts through promotional campaigns and social media engagement.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and store styling to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Manager to design and implement creative visual displays.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organization in the stockroom.
  • Help manage the online store, including website updates and order fulfillment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support store operations.
