Position Duties
Exercising direct supervision over technical, professional, and administrative staff. Overseeing waste flow management, monitors, and enforces proper disposal and recycling procedures. Managing the construction and demolition (C&D) diversion programs. Overseeing green waste and organics processing, ensuring proper handling, grinding, and preparation of materials for the future compost facility. Monitoring and enforces compliance with recycling regulations and optimizes processes. Preparing and manages budget, including cost control and resource allocation. Managing DOT compliance requirements, including driver qualification files, hours-of-service logs, vehicle inspections, and regulatory audits. Coordinating with disposal facilities, makes adjustments in hauling operations to accommodate closure.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Five (5) years of solid waste experience, including operation of state permitted solid waste transfer facility.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
- Two (2) years of experience with construction and demolition diversion, recycling operations, and green waste processing preferred.
