Job Description:GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Contractor Coordinator supervises and manages external resources, ensuring they are properly identified,
developed, trained, and compliant with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements for the Spring
Grove facility. This role is responsible for coordinating contracted work, overseeing project execution, and
managing the full requisition-to-pay process for assigned areas.
Role and Responsibilities
· The position handles all contractor work through scheduling, safety oversight, performance assessment,
and shutdown project management.
· The employee must write and review purchase requisitions, expense reports, and capital cost records
which follow Pixelle Business Systems guidelines. This includes approving invoicing and managing spend
in the Maintenance department within the approved budgets.
· The Contract Coordinator has the authority to stock and delete
· Ensures work execution follows safe practices while maintaining operational efficiency and avoiding
disruptions to internal business activities.
· The position requires competitive bid acquisition and vendor performance management and accurate
record maintenance for project and cost tracking.
· The role requires teamwork with supervisors, engineers the Maintenance department, other
departments in the mill to execute work plans from start to finish.
· The position handles both small maintenance tasks (moving files and furniture, odd jobs) and capital
projects which include facility improvement work.
· The employee needs to review requisitions and invoices and vendor-managed inventory activities while
confirming that all expenses stay within budgeted amounts.
· The employee needs to maintain effective communication with all organizational levels while making sure
everyone follows safety protocols and environmental standards and company policies.
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Qualifications and Education Requirements
· 5-10 years working in an industrial environment is required.
· The preferred candidate should have experience working with SAP and SAP-PM systems or equivalent
software platforms.
· The candidate needs to demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication abilities together with
strong leadership competencies.
· The candidate needs to demonstrate self-sufficiency while showing ability to work with others.
· The candidate needs to understand safety risks and learn appropriate protective measures. · The candidate needs to demonstrate ability to understand technical documents and drawings and manuals through reading and interpretation. · A valid Pennsylvania driver's license serves as a requirement for this position.
