Description

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager of Data and Analytics to lead our analytics function and help shape the future of HydroPeptide through powerful insights. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and executing the data strategy, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions, and fostering a culture of data literacy across the organization. You will work cross-functionally with executive leadership, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to support strategic priorities through analytics and data storytelling. 


The details: 

Location: Hybrid – this role will work from our Bellevue HQ 3 days/week and from home the remainder. However, additional on-site presence may be required to support team collaboration, meetings, and other business needs. 

Hours/Contract: Full Time; working typical FT business hours will require some flexibility including evenings & weekends on occasion. 

Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time. 

Travel requirements: N/A 

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 base salary + annual bonus potential


As the Senior Manager of Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for: 

Data Strategy & Leadership 

  • Define and drive the company-wide data and analytics strategy aligned with business priorities. 
  • Lead initiatives to centralize, structure, and democratize data across departments including Marketing, Sales, Product, eCommerce, and Finance. 
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of insight and accountability across the organization. 

Business Intelligence & Reporting Infrastructure 

  • Select, implement, and manage modern BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau) to enable self-service analytics. 
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks that provide real-time visibility into business performance. 
  • Ensure scalable and secure data pipelines, working closely with engineering/IT consultants. 

Data Integration & Connector Management 

  • Own and manage data integration between core business systems, including ERP, Shopify, CRM, marketing platforms, and retail portals. 
  • Ensure seamless data flows across systems to support reporting accuracy and real-time analytics. 
  • Collaborate with supporting consultants to maintain and optimize ETL processes and connectors for critical business systems. 

Analytics & Insight Creation 

  • Lead the analysis of customer, product, marketing, and sales data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy and drive growth. 
  • Translate complex data sets into clear narratives and business recommendations for leadership and key stakeholders. 
  • Provide analytical support for key initiatives such as new product launches, pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and customer retention. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Partner with Marketing, eCommerce, Sales, Operations, and Finance to align on metrics, reporting needs, and insight delivery. 
  • Act as the central point of contact for all analytics-related questions and priorities across the business. 
  • Train and empower business users to utilize BI tools and interpret data effectively. 

Other duties as assigned, with room for growth as the role evolves.? 

Requirements

We want you to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in business analytics, data management, or systems integration, ideally within retail, consumer goods industry. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and interpret interface specifications and requirements. 
  • Strong technical skills in areas such as SQL, HL7, XML, and API integrations. 
  • Experience working with Shopify and Salesforce. 
  • Advanced skills with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. 
  • Commitment to accuracy and maintaining a 0% defect rate, ensuring data integrity for real-time business operations. 
  • Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams and external partners. 
  • Collaborative mindset with a genuine desire to learn, contribute to, and strengthen company culture while supporting teammates’ success.? 

What can help you really stand out: 

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field (such as Data Analytics, Business Administration) preferred. 
  • Experience with Acumatica ERP. 
  • Passion for the skincare industry.
