With Vituity, if you ever need to move, you can take your job with you.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:#000000;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3EThe Opportunity%3C/strong%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3EWork with Medical Directors to review site performance, address problems, and adjust practices to achieve profitability.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAccountable for ensuring all sites are solvent.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EReview monthly site performance reports and ensure problems are corrected.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ETake charge of or assist MDs in resolving issues with problem payers, AR, etc.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor site contributions and organization subsidies.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork with Vituity Practice Management staff and VP in negotiations of managed care contracts affecting sites in their region as needed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage debt forgiveness when applicable.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECoordinate and lead the negotiation of contracts in the region and resolve issues with payers, managed care organizations, and the hospital.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOperate a new site to budget.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnow incentives and operationalize optimization, ensure contract terms are being met.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECandidates must be prepared to participate in the entire lifecycle of contract implementation, including the startup phase.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOwn start-ups, Year One and Hot Spot calls.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EIncrease in subsidy needs to be approved by COO.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAccountable for site operational and quality performance.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAid each MD in the identification and correction of potential and/or existing operational or financial problems, including patient flow, coding, documentation, compliance, and productivity issues.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAdvise Medical Directors and site management team to ensure that all practice lines in the region provide the highest quality medical care.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EKnow quality metrics for the site and system, ensure these are exceeded.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAccountable for ensuring meaningful integration occurs: Identify opportunities for practice line integration to ensure the quality and efficiency of patient care delivery across the acute care continuum; assist with new service line startups; engage regularly with integrated site RDs.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEngage in collaboratives, set the tone, hold MD and SMT accountable.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAllocate Vituity Practice Management, Operations Consultants, and Regional Leads resources for region.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork collaboratively with Operations Consultants and Regional Leads on initiatives such as start-up calls and performance improvement initiatives and assume responsibility for the success of those efforts. The RD is ultimately responsible for their practice’s performance.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAct as the leader for the site in any Vituity collaboratives.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EBe proactive in maintaining oversight of all site metrics, incentives, and operational processes.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide leadership for all partners and employees in the region.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOnboard and mentor Medical Directors and address any performance issues in a timely manner, hold them accountable.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAid the MD in recruiting, onboarding, and acculturating new providers.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERepresent Vituity and impart information on new policies and procedures.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork clinically at struggling sites when appropriate and necessary.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECommit to creating and demonstrating inclusivity within Vituity including codesigning, building, and executing strategies, policies, and practices that cultivate equity, inclusion, and fair opportunity for all; demonstrating preparedness to educate, mitigate, coach, and address daily bias and exclusion in partnership with the site leadership.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELead with integrity by recognizing the voices and ideas of individuals in their respective site or division.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure practices are following up on compliance requirements.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure the Medical Directors are signing off on timecards within the due date.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupport current and future Leadership development by supporting and participating the Leadership Development Program.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERepresent Vituity and maintain relationships in their region.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain a strong C-suite relationship, ensure added value.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERespond quickly to emails and calls.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERepresent Vituity to hospital administration and nursing; meet at least annually with them, but quarterly is preferred. Best to have ongoing check-ins.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssure strong and positive relationships with medical staff. Encourage site partners to become Chief of Med Staff.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EServe as a member of Vituity Regional Director Operations Committee and on appropriate Vituity workgroups.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssume responsibility for any Medical Director in an emergency.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERegularly engage, mentor, and assist fellow Regional Directors, medical directors, and site management team.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMeet with Medical Directors on a frequent basis and monitor high risk and new sites monthly.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EInvestigate and address Partner and provider complaints and issues in the Region.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ELeadership education and training.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in Divisional meetings with all practice lines.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide regular organizational updates at the site level.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure appropriate onboarding, education, and training of MDs.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEducation and training sessions.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECreate and update training materials.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESupply potential candidates to the leadership pipeline.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EIdentify opportunities for new business, report them to leadership and/or business development for follow up.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in New Business opportunities outside your own region as needed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPresent new innovations and service line offerings to current clients to enhance existing relationships.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EManage the contract negotiation process with existing sites via Renewal Process.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure our contracting process is being followed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EParticipate in establishing new contract terms.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EFacilitate integration of practice lines in startups and existing contract sites.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMeet regularly with RDs from different service lines to share challenges and find solutions to increase contract stability.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EJoint accountability with the System Client champion to ensure good relationships; ensuring that we are meeting/exceeding expectations.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor and intervene when appropriate on matters of client, medical staff, and hospital staff conflict/problems.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure that all Vituity physician providers understand their fiduciary obligations as Vituity partners.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EModel and communicate the cultural values, partnership principles, and patient-centered cause in interactions with patients, clients, providers, and employees.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork with your peers to help and improve overall performance.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAccountable for meeting organizational goals in their Region.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPlan and contribute to content for Division-wide meetings as assigned.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPromote Vituity’s culture, mission, values, and democratic principles.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWork with Partnership affairs and CPAC on provider-related issues and concerns in their Region and ensure that progressive counseling with exceptional documentation is followed.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure bi-directional communication to and from providers regarding organizational updates, policies and procedures, strategy, etc.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EHave regular interactions with key hospital administrators to maintain an open line of communication and to understand and address pain points throughout the year.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMonitor and intervene when appropriate on matters of client, medical staff, and hospital staff conflict/problems.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EEnsure site providers are actively participating in key hospital committees.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAssist the site leadership in cultivating and maintaining key relationships when able and applicable with hospital board members, foundation members etc.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERespond in a timely manner.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAlign with partnership strategy, initiatives, and expectations and communicate to the site level.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EHave an in-depth understanding of the strategy and initiatives to own the message and be prepared to thoroughly discuss with Partners.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ERD is a Vituity advocate and should communicate as an owner of the message as opposed to being simply a translator.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProvide VPs feedback they receive related to these communications.%3C/li%3E%3C/ul%3E%3Cp%3E%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%3Cspan style=%22color:#000000;%22%3E%3Cstrong%3ERequired Experience and Competencies%3C/strong%3E%3C/span%3E%3C/p%3E%3Cul%3E%3Cli%3ELicensed physician as a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school and completion of residency through an accredited residency program required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EBoard or national certification required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ECurrent valid federal drug enforcement agency (DEA) certificate for the state in which the provider is practicing for Vituity required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMaintain membership and privileges on Hospital’s medical staff and comply with and abide by the bylaws, rules and regulations, and the policies and procedures of Hospital’s medical staff where services are being provided required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EPhysician Partnership status required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EOperations management role experience, ex: Medical Director, Medical Group Manager, multi-site experience required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EMedical group clinical work experience required.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EWe have a strong preference for high-performing medical directors who are looking to advance to the next level of leadership.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EProactive and solution minded.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3ESuperior clinical skills to serve as role model by setting high standards.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EAbility to interpret and understand complex financial data as relative to practice management.%3C/li%3E%3Cli%3EDemonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
