Responsibilities:

Revenue Cycle Management Summary 🚀

  1. Process Creation & Monitoring 📊

    • Standardize workflows for billing and cash posting.
    • Regular audits for compliance.
  2. Department Coordination 🤝

    • Hold meetings with Admissions, Compliance, and IT.
    • Use checklists for timely billing.
  3. Non-Payments & Denials

    • Develop a denial management process.
    • Track denial reasons and train staff.
  4. Accounts Receivable Management 💰

    • Review AR aging reports regularly.
    • Implement strategies for improved collections.
  5. System Maintenance 🔧

    • Collaborate with IT for system updates.
    • Conduct regular audits for efficiency.
  6. KPIs & Reporting 📈

    • Define KPIs for each department.
    • Create dashboards for real-time insights.
  7. Data Tracking 📊

    • Track revenue and collections by various metrics.
    • Analyze payment trends for strategic adjustments.
  8. Collaboration with Revenue Accounting 📑

    • Share insights to support admissions.
    • Create feedback loops for continuous improvement.

    • Align department budget with financial goals.
    • Monitor performance against targets.

Qualifications:
  • Education 🎓

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Revenue Cycle Systems Knowledge 💻

    • Extensive knowledge of and experience with Revenue Cycle systems.
  • Healthcare Analytics Experience 📊

    • Experience with healthcare analytics, report generation, reimbursement, and payer contracting.
  • Proven Revenue Cycle Management Experience 💼

    • Proven experience in revenue cycle management for a healthcare operation with excess of $400M in revenue.
  • Health Insurance Knowledge 🏥

    • Sound knowledge of health insurance providers.
