Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and manage supplier and service provider relationships.

  • Negotiate favorable contracts ensuring quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Maintain and update ERP (Workday) item master and related modules for accuracy and integrity.

  • Collaborate with Buyers, Accounts Payable, end users, and Capital team to resolve system errors.

  • Conduct cost savings analyses and present findings to leadership and committees.

  • Support Value Analysis Committee with data-driven insights and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with FDA, OSHA, and healthcare accreditation standards.

  • Track product recalls, expirations, and safety requirements.

  • Partner with clinical and value analysis teams to drive cost efficiency.

  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

  • Utilize supply chain software for forecasting, tracking, and reporting.

  • Support system integration with EHR and clinical platforms.

  • Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans for supply disruptions.

  • Supervise and train supply chain staff to achieve performance goals.

  • Establish KPIs and evaluate procurement and warehouse team performance.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • BA/BS from an accredited university with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.

  • Minimum five years’ experience in procurement operations, clinical value analysis, strategic sourcing, analytics and project management

  • Supervisory Experience

  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

  • Possess working knowledge of GPO’s and contracts.

  • Must understand and adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  Ability to learn and utilize facilities ERP system. Work Day experience a plus.

  • Must be an organized, self-starter with problem solving skills and demonstrate flexibility and cooperation while working in a fast-paced, multi-task working environment.

  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
