Workability Specialist bei Ventura County Office of Education

Provide supplemental services students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) the opportunity to complete their secondary education while also obtaining marketable job skills. Provide students with an understanding of job-seeking and job-keeping skills. Provide pre-employment services to special education students, resulting in paid employment placements. Needs to have flexible availability including time during and after regular school hours.

All application materials must be submitted with a VCOE application as a complete package. A complete application package must include the following:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma; Advanced skills with Excel and Internet; Experience with job development desired; Experience with career/vocational assessment desired; and Experience working with youth with disabilities. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Driver’s license.
