EXAMINATION SCHEDULE:
Oral exam: Qualifying candidates will be notified 5 days prior to the date of the oral examination.Examinations:
Oral Exam (Weight 100%): Will be conducted for the purpose of appraising the applicant's training, education, experience, interest, and personal fitness for the position.
Minimum Qualifications/ Employment Standards:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business administration or related field AND five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, two (2) of which have been in a management capacity; OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possession of one of the following certificates or certifications:
- Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI) certificate
- California Public Employers Labor Relations Association - CLRM
- Society of Human Resources Management CP or SCP
