Essential Functions:
Strategic Implementation of AI-Based Image Recognition for Quality Assurance
Systematic Analysis of Production Processes and Identification of Potentials for Computer Vision (CV) at MBUSI Comprehensive evaluation of existing production processes to identify quality assurance challenges.
Assessment of areas with high potential for automation and optimization using computer vision technologies.
Definition of critical quality checkpoints where AI-based image recognition can provide the most value.- Implementation of an AI-Based Image Recognition System for Grommet Inspection
Development and deployment of a computer vision system specifically designed for automated grommet inspection.
Integration of the AI model into the existing production line with minimal disruption.
Validation of system performance based on accuracy, speed, and reduction in human error. - Development of a Strategic Decision Model for Computer Vision Roll-Out at MBUSI
Creation of a structured decision-making framework to guide the scalable deployment of AI-based image recognition systems.
Consideration of key factors including cost-benefit analysis, technical feasibility, and impact on quality KPIs.
Recommendations for prioritization of future CV applications across different production areas.
