Where you come in:

  • You lead the administration and optimization of global security systems (e.g., Genetec, access control, visitor management, etc.).
  • You define and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance trends for security systems and incidents using tools like Power BI, SQL, and Excel automation.
  • You manage identity and access management workflows and system integrations, ensuring operational clarity and scalability.
  • You research and implement emerging technologies (e.g., AI, analytics, cloud-based security, IoT, etc.) to enhance efficiency and resilience.
  • You oversee lifecycle management of security technologies using platforms like SiteOwl, including forecasting and replacement planning in quarterly reporting.
  • You serve as the subject matter expert, leading cross-functional security technology projects from design through deployment across global sites.
  • You collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Security Operations to ensure seamless integration and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • You provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • You support global expansion efforts, including new site buildouts and coordination across time zones.
  • You travel both domestically and internationally, as needed, for site visits, deployments, vendor coordination, and global project support.

You lead the administration, optimization and lifecycle management of the company’s global security technology platforms, including video management, access control, visitor management, and others. You serve as the subject matter expert for Genetec and other integrated systems, collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders for system integrations and technology implementation. You also evaluate emerging technologies to drive automation, resilience, scalability and compliance with organizational risk requirements.

What makes you successful:

  • You must have demonstrated strong knowledge of Genetec Security Center or an equivalent technology, with a comprehensive understanding of identity/automation platforms.
  • You must have demonstrated experience with cloud solutions, APIs, and system integrations on a global scale.
  • You must have strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • You must have a demonstrated knowledge of emerging technologies in security (e.g., AI analytics, automation, IoT, etc.), along with implementation of such technologies.
  • You must have the ability to manage multiple projects, across time zones and cultures.
  • You should be an active member of relevant security communities (e.g., ASIS, etc.) to stay current on best practices and industry standards.

Travel Required:

  • 15-25%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • You must have 8-12 years of experience in security systems administration, design or integration with a minimum of 3 years’ previous management or lead experience.
  • Ideally a master’s degree in security, IT or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • You should have professional certifications (e.g., Genetec Certified, CSSI, ISC2, CompTIA, etc.) or other professional/vendor related credentials from an accredited organization.
