CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines. Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL, We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support. We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers. Position Summary:

The Accounting intern at CB Mining provides unique accounting experience, working with small business leaders and corporate accounting of Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company. Take advantage of this opportunity to gain hands on experience in general accounting and financial analysis.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Account reconciliations and roll forwards.
• Interaction with Accounts Payable coding period expenses.
• Assisting with preparation of financial reports.
• Ad hoc reporting of financial metrics in Excel.
• Cross-departmental projects to improve efficiency and implement change management.
• Other tasks relating to business needs.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• In Pursuit of accounting, finance, or related business degree.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Experience with spreadsheet, ERP, Microsoft Suite, or other business-related computer software a plus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage time is a must.

Today we have 2 locations in Washington, PA, Marion, IL, and Tuscaloosa, AL where we continue the legacy on superb customer support for both Longwall and R &P underground mining.
