Job Title:       Branch Manager (Non-Lender)


Job Summary:

 

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of a full-service branch, including staff supervision, daily operations, customer service, business development, and overall branch profitability. This position plays a key role in fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and aligning branch activities with the Bank’s strategic goals.

 

General Description/Duties: 

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, coach, and develop branch staff in areas such as customer service, sales, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and maintain a branch culture focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships.
  • Drive branch profitability through new business development, cross-selling of products and services, and deepening existing relationships with clients.
  • Monitor and manage branch performance against key metrics; identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Manage and approve expenditures in accordance with the branch budget and business plan; contribute to annual budget planning and cost control efforts.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to share updates, reinforce goals, and promote collaboration.
  • Set clear expectations and performance standards for staff; provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support career development.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, security procedures, and risk management practices.
  • Support the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) goals through community involvement and outreach activities; ensure staff awareness of CRA responsibilities.
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal and state banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Perform additional duties, special projects, or assignments as directed.

 

 

 

Job Title:        Branch Manager

       

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in banking, retail, financial services, or similar setting strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve goals.
  • Proven customer service and relationship-building skills with both consumer and business clients.
  • Proven communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, common office or industry-related software.
