Qualifications
Position Summary: Midrex’s 2026 Summer Internship Program offers an immersive assignment to undergraduate students, enhancing their understanding of the business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a people centric organization. Midrex offers a 20 hour per week, paid internship that begins with an orientation in May and concludes in August.

Duties/Responsibilities:
The internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. Potential areas of learning:

Database Conception: Understanding of vendor relationships and cost differentials. Creation of internal database for pricing associated with vendors and assets.

Work with members of the Project Procurement team to learn the procurement process at Midrex, including use of the ERP system, issuing RFQ’s, drafting Purchase Orders, expediting Purchase Orders, managing invoices and contacting vendors on warranty claims.
Skills/Abilities:
Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Excel).

Ability to learn modern technology, software, and tools.

Strong attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills.
Education and Experience:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration/Management, or related field.

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
