Position Overview

Global Kids seeks a Teaching Consultant to support the delivery of its afterschool programming at Transit Tech CTE High School. The consultant will assist lead educators in facilitating workshops, managing student engagement, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment. This role involves direct interaction with students and requires fingerprint clearance.

Scope of Work

• Support lead educators in implementing the Global Kids curriculum and activities.

• Assist with classroom management and student engagement during program hours.

• Provide individualized or small group support to students.

• Help track attendance and complete required documentation.

• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants.

• Collaborate with Global Kids staff and school personnel as needed.

• Attend required orientation and training sessions.

Consultant Requirements

• Must submit a current resume.

• Must complete fingerprinting clearance before working with students.

• Experience working with high school youth in educational or community settings preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly rate: Competitive, based on experience. Schedule: Weekday afternoons during program hours (exact times to be confirmed).
