Join Creative Dining Services as a Retail Manager, leading a diverse and fast-paced dining program that includes Peet’s Coffee, micro-markets, Johnny’s short order restaurant, and university concessions. What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily retail operations across multiple concepts, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage hiring, scheduling, training, and performance of all retail team members.
• Maintain compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Chef/Production Manager to develop menus, manage inventory, and control costs.
• Monitor retail performance, including sales, labor, and food costs, adjusting strategies for profitability.
• Lead marketing and merchandising efforts to drive engagement and growth across all retail outlets.
• Oversee Peet’s Coffee operations, ensuring adherence to corporate recipes, service standards, and training.
• Manage micro-markets and vending programs — including product selection, vendor coordination, and merchandising.
• Coordinate staffing, logistics, and service delivery for university concessions and event-based food operations.
• Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, staff, and the campus community.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in retail, food service, or hospitality.
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, and merchandising.
• Experience leading teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic financial reporting.

Preferred:

• Experience with coffee shop or specialty beverage operations (Peet’s or similar).
• Familiarity with micro-market and vending operations.
• Background in event-based or concession management.
