Overview
PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Under general direction, the Network Engineer III manages the purchase, installation, and support of network communications, including LAN/WAN systems. Responsible for evaluating current systems. Works on complex problems where analysis of situation requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Plans large scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies. Provides work leadership and training to lower level network engineers. Requires expert knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, networks, and applications. Provides direction, information and recommendations regarding network configurations and installations.
This is an onsite role at our corporate headquarters in Franklin, TN, becoming hybrid after the first 90 days.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years demonstrated experience in an independent role supporting LAN/WAN environments and systems.
- Deep-level knowledge of voice and data communications.
- Deep-level knowledge of TCP/IP, switching and routing.
- Deep-level knowledge of infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and servers.
- Experience with Palo Alto or Zscaler experience a plus.
- Experience with Azure Cloud a plus.
- Ability to escalate and involve other resources as required to provide support per Acadia Healthcare IT Service Level Agreements.
- Ability to think quickly and respond effectively to high-visibility situations.
- Ability to train, explain and impart knowledge to others.
- Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
- Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
- Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
- English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
