Our Manufacturing Engineer role will prepare you for a career like no other and you can expect to gain an end-to-end knowledge of manufacturing engineering. That knowledge will be gained as you work on live projects for three, multi-month placements within our teams who introduce new products, develop and implement new technology and focus on continuously improving products and processes, either within our manufacturing plants or our external supply chain.
Our goal is to provide experiences that provide a breadth of exposure to the many facets of manufacturing engineering and internal networks from shop floor to management or our external supply chain to help you navigate exciting and purposeful career opportunities. Through coaching, mentoring and training with both our best technical and business leaders, you will develop the necessary technical and behavioral skills to leverage a toolbox of experiences, skills and leadership for success and growth.

What you’ll be doing:
Collaborating with talented professionals in a fast-paced, high-tech environment that emphasizes teamwork
Taking on real responsibility by introducing major equipment, improving manufacturing systems, or addressing continuity risks
Supporting manufacturing launch plans by integrating activities and helping suppliers adopt more efficient methods and new material specifications
Gaining experience working directly on Rolls-Royce manufacturing sites and/or with external supply chain teams supporting component delivery
Tackling complex and rewarding challenges that provide a strong foundation for your career
Who we’re looking for:
Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to solve problems using analytical and critical thinking
Demonstrate how to identify a problem and scope a task
Understanding of lean principles (5S, visual management and continuous improvement process)
Demonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiences (e.g., shop floor, technical experts, and management)
Demonstrate presentation skills both orally as well as visual management

Attending an accredited college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree or higher in:
Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering Technology
Manufacturing Engineering
Assembly Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Systems Engineering
Aerospace Engineering
Preferred qualifications: (but not required)
Understanding and experience with CAD preferred
Prior manufacturing internship/co-op preferred
Graduation eligibility: Graduating between December 2025 and June 2026
Minimum GPA: 3.0
