Description

The Accession Support Services Analyst will provide critical analytical strength data and reporting support to the Army National Guard (ARNG) Human Resources Recruiting (HRR) leadership, specifically supporting the Recruiting Operation Branch. This role is essential for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on recruiting, retention, and accession data across all 54 States and Territories, ensuring HRR Division leadership has timely and accurate information for decision-making.

 The Analyst will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of a variety of recurring reports, as well as providing general knowledge management and training support within the HRR Division.

Daily Reports: Produce HRR Daily Recruiting Update (Enlisted/AC2RC/Quality %) for XO; Report State/Territory enlisted enlistments to Division Chief; Maintain rolling Daily Recruiting report for all 54 States/Territories. 

Weekly Reports: Create SMAG Consolidated Report (Accession/Retention by state/territory); Generate Weekly Recruiting Summary (Total Losses/Gains); Prepare Deputy Directors Recruiting Summary (national roll-up/training seat utilization); Produce Consolidated ARNG Listing and WIN Report. 

Monthly Reports: Create Month vs. Historical Comparison of Accession Data; Generate FYTD and MTD AC2RC Report. 

Knowledge Management: Provide KM support to all HRR branches; Update SharePoint pages/info; Offer one-on-one instruction on MS Teams/SharePoint usage. 

System Integration: Integrate data/reporting from new systems (e.g., IPPS-A, AIE) as required.

• Provides analytical and implementation support for projects.
• Works under supervision to provide project solutions to achieve program objectives.  
• Gathers and organizes information on problems or procedures, including present operating procedures.
• Analyzes data, develops information, and assesses available solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
• Provides specialized knowledge in specific functional or operational domains, or in analysis methods or disciplines. 

Qualifications

• Must have an active SECRET clearance.     
• 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or program support.                             
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including advanced functions for data analysis and reporting).                                                    
• Demonstrated analytical strength and experience in data compilation, analysis, and comprehensive report generation.                                               
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.                                                      
• Experience with military recruiting operations or knowledge of the National Guard Bureau (NGB).                                                                                                   
• Proficiency with SharePoint and MS Teams for knowledge management and instruction.          
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy of high visibility, rolling data reports presented to senior leadership.          
• Technical Access: Ability to gain and maintain necessary security clearances and access to required databases and network systems, including:                                                     

1. Director's Personnel Readiness Overview (DPRO)                                        
2. Automated Unit Vacancy Software (AUVS)                                         
3. The Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) Funding Allocation Model (AFAM)                                          
4. Strength Maintenance Management System (SMMS)
