The Senior CPM Scheduler will be required to have knowledge of scheduling principles in order to build and maintain project schedules, monitor and report on status, analyze schedules and associated changes for key risk areas and milestones impact, and will work under moderate supervision. Duties: Responsibilities of the position include: The Senior CPM Scheduler will support the AUS Capital Improvement Program (CIP), including the AEDP. The scheduler will be reviewing and analyzing program schedules, monthly progress schedule updates, making recommendations to mitigate delays, and completing project status reports on landside and airside projects. Responsibilities also include the development of design schedules as well as the development and maintenance of program-level master schedules. Duties will also include attending schedule-related meetings with program/project management teams to discuss schedule issues. The scheduler will be available to participate in all progress meetings for assigned projects. Other responsibilities may include Cash Flow Forecasting, Integrated Master Schedule Development, Critical Path Management and Reporting, Resource & Cost Loaded Schedules, Progress Curve Development, Look Ahead Schedules, and Development of Monthly Status Reports.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. PE, CCM, PSP or PMI certifications desired.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Construction or Construction Management is required with a focus on scheduling.
- Proficiency with software "Primavera P6" is a must.
- Airport / Civil Construction experience is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of and experience in construction scheduling, program scheduling, and cost & resource loading required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in Adobe Acrobat, MS Office Suite applications of Outlook, Word, and skilled at performing data evaluation, formulas and metrics in Excel.
Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
OTHER: Employees assigned to driving duties ("drivers") must at all times have a current, valid driver's license in which the employee performs his or her driving duties and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with Keville's driving policy.
