Job Summary

THE POSITION: Under the direction of the District Superintendent, the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and Board of Education provides high-level administrative support to the Superintendent and Board members. Ensuring efficient operation of the Superintendent’s office and effective communication between the school district administration, the Board of Education, staff, parents, and the public. The role required professionalism, discretion, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION: The ideal candidate is a proactive, highly organized self-starter who can effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple responsibilities while working independently with minimal supervision. This individual consistently meets deadlines, adapts smoothly to interruptions, and demonstrates sound judgment while engaging with district staff and the public with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion. THE EXAMINATION: Candidates may be examined on demonstrating job-related skills through written exercises and simulated tasks. Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to: (1) Associate’s degree or higher in business administration, public administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred); and (2) Minimum of five years’ experience as a secretary or administrative assistant to an executive-level administrator or manager.

$8,057/month to $9,802/month in five annual steps
