Job Summary
Provides sales support through creating equipment layouts, special spec/custom equipment, pricing and product support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support sales process by designing and creating efficient CAD/Revit layouts based on input from sales team and AMS Project Managers in timely manner.
- Manage special spec equipment process for custom equipment and product not included in main product line. Develop pricing for items based on company margin targets and manage special spec database.
- Interface with suppliers concerning special specification products concerning specifications, costing and customizations.
- Review bid documents in detail relative to product specifications, providing insight to pricing and sales concerning product deviations and substitutions. Provide administration support for bid response.
- Supports sales team with in-depth product knowledge and liaison between sales and engineering. Provide competitive product comparisons/evaluations as needed.
- Create/Update or manage the creation of CAD and REVIT models for all new and updated equipment. Oversee REVIT model builds by outside resource.
- Provide support to Food Service Consultants relative to equipment layout review and recommendations, spec sheets and CAD/REVIT models, etc.
- Manage KCL addition/updates for new products, product updates and product deletions. Including CAD/REVIT models, spec sheet, and technical information.
- Based on input from Marketing team, create trade show booth equipment.
- Provides administrative support for sales and marketing team as necessary.
- Back-up product management and marketing support as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical capabilities, communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
Education and Experience
- BS/BA required in related field.
- AutoDesk, AutoCAD, REVIT Certification preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in equipment layout (food service area preferred).
