Overview:

As one of the nation's leading electric transmission line construction companies, MasTec Power Delivery companies engineer and construct efficient and reliable electrical transmission, distribution, and substation & switchyard systems. The HR Admin will report to the project specific HR Lead. They will ensure accuracy and compliance when onboarding hires. They will be able to assist in all areas of Human Resources as needed based on company demand.

 

Hourly rate: $18-25 depending on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Complete new hire setups in the HRIS weekly, ensuring completion of all required paperwork and adhering to all service line deadlines
  • Assist the Talent Acquisition team with scheduling interviews with applicants and hiring managers
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
  • Process terminations and changes in the HRIS weekly, adhering to all service line deadlines
  • Verify and maintain accuracy of Form I-9 and E-Verify information for all new hires.
  • E-file all new hire, termination and change paperwork
  • Provide support for field office operations
  • Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants for rehire
  • Backup Receptionist
  • Any other duties deemed necessary to accomplish the job
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college business / Human Resource courses (helpful but not required)
  • Experience with Oracle/ UKG / JD Edwards a plus
