Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

*This position is remote/work from home. You need to reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zones. If in Atlanta, the role will be hybrid.  

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic and enthusiastic Brand Marketing Manager to lead brand development and dynamic storytelling initiatives for two go-to-market brands, Central Dispatch and EV Battery Solutions. This role is ideal for a creative thinker and strategic leader who thrives on bringing brands to life internally and externally, building brand equity, driving brand engagement and crafting compelling content that elevates our brands with diverse audiences – increasing consideration and building raving fans in current clients.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative partner across marketing, creative, and product teams, with a strong ability to translate brand strategy into impactful campaigns, content and brand experiences – all while representing the team as a passionate brand steward.

What You’ll Do 

Brand Strategy & Positioning 

  • Develop, refine and maintain brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions, providing easy-to-use guidelines that aid the organization in ensuring our brands are accurately represented and messaging is delivered consistently across all teams within the organization.  

  • Partner with the Market and Customer Research team on key research initiatives and stay fully aligned with the latest research and competitive insights to inform brand strategy, identify growth opportunities and guide campaign messaging. 

  • Partner with the Event team in the development and execution of how our brands are positioned and come to life through industry events.  

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar aligned to ongoing brand campaigns and content development. 

Content & Campaign Development and Execution 

  • Develop and oversee the creation of dynamic and engaging brand content aligned to brand messaging strategy, target audiences and optimized by channel (digital, social, and traditional platforms). 

  • Collaborate with and manage agency partners and internal team members to produce high-impact content for drives consideration and brand loyalty. 

  • Partner with digital marketing and activation partners in the development of strategic channel plans that showcase the right content on the right channel to the right audiences at the right time. 

Cross-Functional Brand Leadership 

  • Serve as the brand steward for your brands, fostering a culture of brand advocacy with internal teams across the organization and with external clients.   

  • Manage agency relationships and external partners to execute brand initiatives on time and on budget. 

  • Act as the central brand contact for inputs/approvals of marketing executions across all marketing teams. 

Budget & Project Management  

  • Oversee the brand budgets, timelines and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective execution without going over budget.   

  • Leverage project management platforms to manage multiple competing projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.   

  • Execute regular-standing project update meetings for major events, ensuring stakeholders are informed, aligned and held accountable to deliver on their portions of the projects.   

Performance & Optimization 

  • Define brand KPIs and measure the effectiveness of brand campaigns, content and initiatives. 

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize brand performance and inform future strategies. 

  • Continuously monitor brand KPIs and pivot efforts for optimal performance.

Who You Are 

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 6 years of proven experience in event marketing, brand strategy or related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related field.

  • Exceptional storytelling and content creation skills with a strong creative sensibility. 

  • Strong communication and presentation (building and presenting) skills.  

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns. 

  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends and brand performance metrics. 

  • Experience with AI-powered marketing tools, ability to effectively prompt and collaborate with AI writing assistants, understanding of when to use AI tools vs human creativity for optimal results 

  • Ability to showcase a high-energy and motivating demeanor to drive enthusiasm and excitement across internal and external stakeholders.  

  • Proven success in complex project management, working within aggressive timelines and in a rapidly changing environment.  

  • Excellent collaboration skills to successfully lead work across cross-functional teams.  

  • A self-starter spirit is critical to succeed in this role – the ability to work independently, set strategies, remain aligned to those strategies and keep projects moving with little oversight.  

  • Experience working with and managing creative agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality event experiences.  

  • Experience working comfortably in a rapidly changing environment, can self-start and excel at bringing clarity to challenges and assignments 

  • Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills.  

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead teams indirectly. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail.   

  • Travel: 15%

Preferred:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
