The Role – What You’ll Do!

• Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS policies and procedures.
• Execute day-to-day EHS activities to ensure compliance and safe operations across the facility.
• Plan, design, and deliver engaging EHS training programs that build knowledge, reinforce behaviors, and strengthen the safety culture.
• Lead initiatives that boost employee engagement and directly improve EHS performance and participation.
• Partner closely with department managers and employees to identify hazards, implement safety improvements, and reduce the site’s environmental footprint.
• Track, analyze, and present key EHS metrics and reports to monitor progress and guide action plans.
• Collect, organize, and maintain EHS compliance records, data, and documentation to support audits and inspections.
• Manage all waste-handling activities (hazardous, solid, bio-hazardous, etc.) to ensure safe and compliant disposal practices.
• Apply and maintain strong EHS management controls for all site activities impacting compliance.
• Lead thorough incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed and verified.
• Develop, test, and maintain emergency response and spill response plans, ensuring equipment and teams are ready at all times.
• Take ownership of additional EHS-related projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications That Move Us!

• A bachelor’s degree is required; a Science-related degree is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience is preferred
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions may be considered.
• Strong work ethic - must be a self-starter and willing to do what it takes to complete the task
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to multi-task and execute tasks with a high attention to detail
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Microsoft Office (especially Excel) proficiency
