L&D Specialist at Primark
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you design and implement learning and development programs for our store employees. Working closely with Area Managers, Store Managers, and management teams, you directly contribute to performance on the shop floor.
You report to the Learning & Development Manager Benelux and act as an ambassador for our learning and company culture. Thanks to your efforts, colleagues grow in their roles — and in their pride to work at Primark.
What You Will Do:
Design "blended learning" solutions on our Digital Learning Platform.
Facilitate and design learning interventions, both face-to-face on-site and online.
Create flexible and innovative learning programs using digital tools.
Ensure participants achieve their course objectives and adjust communication as needed.
Monitor the effectiveness of learning across all levels.
Maintain, review, and manage the Digital Learning Platform.
Keep administrative L&D reports up to date.
Optimize colleague morale and promote a positive work environment while ensuring colleagues are fully informed about company policies.
Review, update, and advise on development programs for retail colleagues.
Stay informed about business updates and changes, including tracking new and departing colleagues in our stores.
Review and advise on updates to the training calendar and course portfolio.
Collaborate with the broader P&C team and other functions within retail to deliver top-notch learning experiences to all our retail colleagues.
Network with other L&D specialists.
Who You Are:
We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist with:
A healthy dose of self-reflection and an open and transparent working attitude.
A creative and innovative approach to training.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and the broader Outlook suite.
Strong coaching skills.
Good teamwork skills.
The ability to build credibility within the organization.
The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels.
A structured way of working and a keen eye for detail.
Fluency in French (both spoken and written) and a good level of English (both spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.
A flexible attitude and willingness to travel to our Belgian stores.
Experience in designing and delivering blended learning L&D interventions is a plus.
Experience with Canva, MySimpleShow, or Vyond is preferred but not essential.
