Position: Clerical Team Member
Pay: $18/hr.
Location: Amherst, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (typically)

Your Impact as a Clerical Team Member
Under the supervision of the Director of Administrative Services and or Office Manager, The Clerical Team Member is responsible to provide coverage of shifts for planned and unplanned time off on short notice at various locations; for accurate and timely performance of clerical and administrative duties of moderate complexity requiring diversified clerical and phone skills; generates and maintains confidential files, reports and records; demonstrates proficient use of PC/client server/network and related software (purchased and proprietary) and various office machines in performance of duties; responds to telephone/fax inquiries of a routine nature; exhibits a working knowledge of agency policies, practices and procedures while relieving agency staff and other clerical personnel of administrative duties; written and verbal proficiency
- General clerical duties
- Data entry
- Provide receptionist duties for the agency at various Summit locations
- Processes information for individuals served

- Adheres to the Summit Center employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook including, but not limited to dress code, attendance and punctuality, and Paid Time Off
- Any other duties as requested by your supervisor
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be able to type, with minimal errors, accuracy imperative, some knowledge of business machines and general clerical activity desirable, familiarity with technical terminology related to education or the treatment of emotionally/physically challenged children. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel- Basic Applications.
