The Business Services Recruiter will be responsible for managing full lifecycle recruitments including creating job descriptions, posting, sourcing, interviewing, and advising business leaders throughout the hiring process. The Recruiter will contribute to and implement effective recruitment strategies across all Business Services Departments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers and senior business leaders to serve as the primary point of contact for open searches, assess recruitment needs, define search strategy and advise on candidate selection
- Review and post job descriptions on relevant job boards
- Schedule and conduct virtual and onsite interviews; serve as the primary point of contact throughout the candidate evaluation process
- Ensure a positive and equitable candidate experience while maintaining compliance with regional laws and regulations
- Prepare and present offers to candidates in line with the Firm’s compensation philosophy
- Host interview debrief sessions to collect and analyze feedback
- Steer the sourcing of candidates through various channels including social media, job boards, agency partners and employee referral programs
- Foster agency partnerships to maintain robust candidate pipeline resources
- Identify and evaluate innovative candidate sourcing techniques
- Maintain reports and metrics for assigned coverage areas
- Perform pre-offer due diligence including reference, conflicts, and background checks.
- Assist with the onboarding process including the development and delivery of engaging orientation programs, building of robust integration schedules and serving as a trusted point of contact to support a smooth transition for new hires
- Assist with departmental administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6–10 years of progressive recruiting experience, including a minimum of 4 years within a corporate, professional services environment.
- Proficiency with a range of sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Oracle Recruiting Cloud is preferred.
- Solid understanding of employment laws and recruitment best practices, with a strong desire to deepen expertise in these areas.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrated discretion and professionalism in managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Enthusiasm for innovation, with a proactive interest in leveraging technology and automation to enhance recruitment processes and drive operational efficiency.
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $115,000 - $145,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
