We’re looking for a new Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Solutions team at Wanstor. You'll be working closely with our Head of Sales, current BDM and Sales team to help develop new business opportunities for Wanstor. 

What You'll Do

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities, driving profitable sales across targeted markets and verticals.
  • Develop and build new business relationships through consistent and systematic engagement with potential clients.
  • Build a deep understanding of our target markets, industry landscape, company offerings, and market strategies to effectively attract new clients.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales forecast within the Wanstor CRM platform.
  • Consistently meet or exceed bookings, revenue and margin targets.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals and quotes to support sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement plans that support sales growth.
  • Work with key vendor partners to create, develop and maintain sales strategies that complement our offering.
  • Contribute to Wanstor’s overall objectives by helping improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure internal stakeholders are informed of significant opportunities or developments that impact the business.
  • Partner closely with Marketing team to design and execute lead generation campaigns that drive new business.

What You'll Need

  • Proven track record in business development or sales within the IT or technology sector, ideally within an MSP. 
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence in engaging prospects and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to meeting targets and managing pipelines.
  • Skilled in preparing proposals, delivering presentations, and articulating complex solutions to clients.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and with vendor partners.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and a disciplined approach to maintaining accurate sales data.
