Now Hiring – Certified Pharmacy Technician - Flex

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM - 6PM (8-hour shift within those hours)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to travel sporadically to our Walpole, MA location.


  • Accurately and efficiently enter new and refill prescriptions, adjudicate insurance claims, and resolve rejections or order exceptions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregivers while managing incoming calls and emails.
  • De-escalate and troubleshoot customer issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers and leadership to meet productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have or be able to obtain an active Massachusetts license and all required state licenses upon hire.
  • Must possess national PTCB certification 
  • Preferred prior order entry experience using FrameworkLTC, and DocuTrack, or ECM experience
  • Type an average of 50 wpm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can meet order deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
  • Can perform pharmacy calculations
  • Is available for occasional overtime

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time
  • Repetitive motion deskwork
