We are looking for a ‘rising star’ to complement our talented team of Diligence experts. Our Diligence professionals provide expert advice and independent professional analysis on financial and operational efficiency for Target company on Buy-Side as well as Sell-side deals.
Our FDD practice operates through in United States, Australia and London with over 20 billable professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Experience in collaborating with onshore teams, including managing data rooms, preparing document request lists, conducting workbook analyses, performing Quality of Earnings assessments, compiling due diligence reports, and participating in client and engagement team calls.
- Proficiency in interpreting financial statements, conducting financial ratio analyses, understanding U.S. GAAP accounting standards, and applying financial concepts.
- Advanced skills in Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas), as well as proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical abilities encompassing operational and financial analysis, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in people development and training.
- Ability to prepare high-level workbooks that adhere to the firm's professional standards and project requirements, minimizing rework and review comments.
- Skilled in prioritizing data from financial reports into Excel workbook analyses that offer valuable insights to the U.S.-based engagement team for specific company financial reviews in the dynamic mergers and acquisitions environment.
- Assistance in crafting Quality of Earnings adjustments, conducting Net Working Capital analyses, identifying Debt-like Items, and highlighting key Points of Interest for report consideration.
- Capability to review and finalize client reports, ensuring the accuracy of reported figures.
- Experience in remotely coordinating with Ankura consulting professionals and senior management in the U.S. daily, including participating in early morning and late evening conference calls.
- Superior communication, detail-oriented, accuracy, project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Competence in conducting industry-specific and ad hoc analyses.
- Preparation of Management discussion decks.
- Responsibility for reviewing and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of final deliverables.
- Proficiency in basic Debt/Debt-Like and Net Working Capital analysis and adjustment calculations.
- Basic understanding and practical knowledge of technology tools like Power BI, Power Query.
Requirements:
- Possesses strong skills in critical thinking, problem identification, resolution, and process improvement.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively engage with internal team members and external clients.
- Shows commitment to investing time in communication with U.S.-based teams.
- Demonstrates the ability to be a self-starter and confidently interact with team members and clients, as well as ask insightful questions.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and taking responsibility for completing tasks promptly.
- Preferred healthcare industry experience.
