FS Depot has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Coordinator based at our University Park, Illinois facility. This role will assist, assign, schedule, and train FS Depot warehouse staff in daily order assignments specifically related to emergency, daily and stock orders in a proficient and safe manner. Assists warehouse supervisors to ensure products are received, put away, inventoried, and shipped in timely manner to meet customer delivery dates.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse supervisors with the daily scheduling of orders to be processed to ensure shipping commitments are fulfilled.
- Support organizing and prioritizing printed pick list and labels by appropriate dates and color codes.
- Utilize Smartsheet to monitor and update expediate requests received from the FS Depot Customer Service group to ensure emergency orders are being shipped on time.
- Acts as a liaison between the warehouse and customer service groups to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Instills an awareness of safety by walking warehouse and helping to identify safety concerns
- Supports warehouse staff by providing necessary prints and pictures to assist in the proper identification of parts.
- Monitor aging open orders Cetova Report (550,570)
- Maintain processing of export orders. Holding meetings with the customer support teams, utilizing communication tools like smart sheet to effectively ship international orders.
- Maintain small parcel damage claims process through the carrier’s website UPS, FedEx.
- Maintain ordering warehouses packaging supplies to ensure no outages.
- Monitor & investigate customer issues. Implement a tracking system and report out monthly on the customer issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of five years working knowledge in a computerized environment of material requirement planning, bills of material structure and their impact on inventory.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge/Ability to use our JDE (“ERP”) software system to pull useful information needed to operate the day to day functions of the position.
- Must be a self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires poise, tact, and diplomacy
- Some analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Anticipated Annual Salary: $44,311 - $63,302 + annual bonus
