We’re expanding and are seeking an experienced Search Engine Marketing Specialist (SEO/SEM) to join our team. This role is essential in planning, implementing, and managing clients' overall Search Engine Marketing (SEM) strategies to align with their business goals. Core responsibilities include managing paid advertising campaigns, optimizing websites for search engines and LLMs or AI search, and developing SEO strategies encompassing web analytics, content strategy, and keyword optimization. Collaborate with team members to enhance SEM/SEO performance, report on KPIs, and continuously monitor industry trends to improve client program effectiveness.

In this position, you'll combine strategic thinking with technical SEM/SEO expertise to develop and execute search campaigns that align with client goals. You’ll be responsible for continuously optimizing campaigns, ensuring they generate measurable, high-quality results for our clients.

This role focuses on maintaining strong client relationships and delivering an outstanding experience through consistent, outcome-based success in SEM/SEO performance.



SUCCESS ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to research, identify, and implement new SEM and SEO conversion optimization and process initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of the broader digital advertising ecosystem, including DMPs, ad exchanges, and ad tech developments. 
  • Ability to positively co-collaborate with team members as appropriate to develop new or enhance existing SEM programs
  • Responsible for adhering to agile methodology and continuous quality improvement processes  in all SEO and SEM standard operating procedures and quality control processes, including maintaining related standard operating procedures and quality control processes to improve client program performance and agency process/system
  • Ability to research, identify, and implement new SEM and SEO conversion optimization and process initiatives.
  • Expertise in: SEM/PPC, Social Channel Advertising, SEO,  Conversion Rate Optimization, and Analytics
  • Fluent in Agency Tools: HubSpot, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Advertising Platforms, etc.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge in search engines (Google, Yahoo, and Bing) and Google Analytics; acquired appropriate SEO and SEM certifications.
  • Proactive engagement with emerging AI tools to support continuous improvement in SEM and SEO strategy and execution.
  • General Knowledge of HTML is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing strategy and tactics, data analysis, SEO, and SEM
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously, prioritizing and managing time accordingly and on budget
  • Able to give constructive and helpful feedback to team members to help grow their skills
  • Exceptional written & verbal communication
  • Ability to interact with clients and team members in a positive manner
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Passionate about learning and adapting to change initiatives
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or applicable experience; Communication or Marketing
