About the Role
The role also involves coordinating the student withdrawal process and, when required, deputising for the Student Finance Manager and representing the Finance function on committees and working groups. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in enhancing financial operations and student experience within a dynamic university environment.
About You
- Part -qualified accountant (AAT or other Accounting Body) or educated to degree level or equivalent experience, or demonstrable experience of working within a financial accounts receivable environment.
- Demonstrate excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, and database and bespoke finance systems.
- Demonstrable experience of leading a customer focused service.
- Demonstrable excellent problem-solving skills.
- Credit control experience
- Understanding of the Higher Education environment, including variable tuition fees and funding schemes.
- Reconciliation experience
- Preparing report data
- Experience in reviewing processes and procedures.
Additional Information
The salary range shows the potential maximum pay progression in addition to any annual inflationary increase to your pay. Please note that our default position is to appoint into the lower end of the range, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
This post is for 37 hours per week. Occasional weekend working will be required during the year for which appropriate conditions of service will apply.
