Position Summary

The Vice President of Region II provides complete oversight of all our adult services programs within the Maury, Hickman, Giles, and Marshall counties. This leader ensures the delivery of quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance, operational efficiency, and fiscal responsibility. The VP cultivates collaboration, drives program excellence, and advocates for meaningful outcomes for the people we support.  


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of Adult Services programs in the Region II service area.
  • Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with individuals supported, families, conservators, and community partners. 
  • Manage daily operations of all regional programs, including staffing, scheduling, and timekeeping systems. 
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and oversee recruitment, training, and performance management. 
  • Collaborate with the President/CEO to develop, revise, and achieve program mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives. 
  • Ensure compliance with financial, staffing, and quality standards. 
  • Maintain compliance with all DDA, TennCare, and other regulatory and funding source requirements. 
  • Oversee implementation, evaluation, and revision of Individual Support Plans (ISPs). 
  • Supervise and mentor Program Coordinators, Residential Managers, Day Service Directors, and other regional staff. 
  • Ensure documentation, data collection, and reports meet agency and DDA standards. 
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure consistent communication, collaboration, and accountability. 
  • Partner with other executive leaders to align regional operations with overall agency goals. 
  • Oversee facility safety, maintenance, and repairs in coordination with the Maintenance Department. 
  • Represent PDI in regional, state, and community meetings and outreach initiatives. 
  • Remain available on call for emergencies and provide leadership guidance as needed.

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multiple departments or an expansive region within human services, healthcare, or disability support programs. 
  • Proven leadership ability with strong organizational and team-building skills. 
  • Working knowledge of DDA regulations, TennCare, and related state/federal standards. 
  • Demonstrated success in budget management, compliance oversight, and operational planning. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative leadership style. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and program management systems. 
  • Must meet all PDI and DDA employment requirements, including background check and drug screening. 
  • Valid Tennessee driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively. 
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Typical work environments include offices, residential settings, and program sites.
