GenesisCare now has the opportunity for IT Professional who is passionate about technology and problem solving to join our dynamic team in the role of Network Administrator.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be the go-to expert for all escalated network and telephony issues, ensuring our systems run seamlessly. You'll work closely with 1st level support teams, providing guidance and resolving complex technical challenges that require your specialist knowledge.

On offer is permanent full-time role.
More specifically, you will:
Install, configure, and maintain network and telephony hardware and software
Monitor network performance and ensure reliability and availability
Document network and telephony configurations, changes, and procedures
Collaborate with other IT staff to plan and implement network and telephony upgrades and improvements
Maintaining IT standards across all network and telephony systems under their jurisdiction
Maintain technical documentation
Respond to P1 and major incidents/outages, maintain solid and continued communication with appropriate teams
Ownership and management of tickets assigned to your queue through to resolution
Maintain accurate records of network and telephony configurations, changes, and access logs for audit purposes, and assist in the preparation and execution of IT audits
We’re interested in hearing from people who have:
Good knowledge of Network LAN and WAN Technologies and Operating Systems (Cisco, Routing and Switching, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS and IP Addressing)
Good knowledge of Firewall technologies
Good knowledge of WiFi technologies
Knowledge of Video Conferencing systems and solutions such as Polycom and Microsoft Teams
Knowledge of VOIP technology including Call Centre configuration
Knowledge of data centre environments
Knowledge of cabling solutions
Knowledge of network security practices and tools
Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with a customer service orientation
Experience with writing and maintaining technical documentation
Experience working within the ITIL v4 framework desirable
