Make a difference as a Motor Assessor.

Your Role
You’ll assess motor vehicle damage, ensure safe and cost-effective repairs, and deliver fair, high-quality claim outcomes. You'll collaborate with members and smash repairers to uphold RACQ’s brand promise, support vulnerable customers with empathy, and ensure repairs meet industry and regulatory standards.

As part of your toolkit, you’ll be provided with a fully maintained company vehicle, phone, and laptop to support you in delivering great service wherever you are.

This full-time opportunity, based in and around Meanjin (Brisbane), offers a hybrid work environment with core hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

About You
•    Trade-qualified in Panel Beating, Spray Painting, or Motor Mechanics with 3–5 years’ experience 
•    Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and member support 
•    Confident in assessing vehicle damage and repair methods aligned with industry and regulatory standards 
•    Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and managing competing priorities 
•    Tech-savvy with solid computer skills and a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration
