Your New Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner for a portfolio of key customers — understanding their needs, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying new opportunities for growth. You’ll work cross-functionally to deliver seamless service, act as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, and use your insights to shape strategy and continuous improvement.

Your ability to communicate, influence, and build relationships will be at the heart of your success in this role.

What You Can Expect from the Role

  • Develop and deliver account strategies that drive customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers across customer organisations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify needs, propose tailored solutions, and expand opportunities.
  • Lead customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Gather customer insights to inform internal teams and enhance service delivery.
  • Accurately record customer interactions and forecasts in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate across departments to champion the customer voice and deliver outstanding results.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and best practices.

What we’re looking for

  • A proven track record in account management, sales, or customer relations (5–10 years’ experience).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience within the Defence industry or similar sectors preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A commitment to excellence, collaboration, and integrity.
