Experienced Construction Litigation Paralegal – On-Site, Miami, FL bei Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A.

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. (CSK) is seeking a skilled and driven paralegal to join our dynamic Miami office. If you thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment and have the expertise to assist attorneys in managing construction defect litigation cases from start to finish, we’d love to hear from you!

To qualify for this opportunity, candidates must have the following:

• Certification: Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or NALA Certified Paralegal (CP)

• Experience: 5+ years of paralegal experience handling circuit court cases

• Litigation Background: 5+ years working on construction defect and/or first-party property cases

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw

• Preferred: Familiarity with Litify, iManage, or other case/document management software

• Billing: Knowledge of A-codes and L-codes (ABA UTBMS task-based billing system) preferred, as this position includes a billable hour requirement

We seek experienced, self-starting, and organized individuals who can excel in a fast-paced environment and assist attorneys in handling cases from inception through trial. Responsibilities include pretrial investigation, managing discovery, preparing files for hearings and trial, and providing trial support as needed.

Please note that this is an on-premises position. Remote work is not offered. Candidates must currently reside in South Florida to be considered.
