Job Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive QA Engineer with over 7 years of experience in manual testing and API testing, specifically for web applications. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to work independently in a client-facing role, and hands-on experience with report validation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual testing of web applications to ensure quality, functionality, and performance.
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective testing solutions.
• Work independently as an Individual Contributor (IC), taking ownership of assigned tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates, report issues, and clarify requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent manual testing skills, including regression and functional testing, and possess strong database testing knowledge.
• Demonstrates strong autonomy in managing tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
• Proactively identifies and addresses negative and edge cases to enhance overall test coverage

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• At least 3 years of experience in SQL Testing with MySQL.
• At least 4 years of experience in API Testing, including CRUD operations.
• Proficiency in schema validation and good to have assertions knowledge in API Testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience working independently as an Individual Contributor.
• Prior exposure to client-facing roles.
• At least 4 years of experience with Postman; experience with Swagger is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Mobile testing experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
