The Transportation Manager (Logistics) oversees the company’s logistics operations: including scheduling deliveries, tracking orders, managing key company accounts, monitoring transportation costs, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, all while optimizing efficiency and minimizing costs within the supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing Everyday…

  • Shipment tracking: Monitor the movement of goods throughout the transportation process, identifying potential delays and taking corrective actions. 

  • Cost analysis and optimization: Analyze transportation costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to reduce expenses.

  • Compliance management: Ensure adherence to all relevant transportation regulations, including safety standards and documentation requirements.

  • Service Level Agreements Adherence: Coordinate with various carriers (Ground, Express, LTL, Will Call, B2B Accounts, etc) to ensure timely updates and resolve issues.

  • Performance metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery times, scheduling labor, and on-time delivery rates.

  • Team leadership: Provide development and guidance to team members in inbound and outbound areas.

  • Additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Need…

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years in warehouse management, operations, or leadership

  • Warehouse Management Systems & Transportation Management Experience (WMS & TMS) 

  • Experience with Flexport or similar Freight Forwarding groups preferred

  • Container Unloading & Lumping Service Management

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Ability to coach, develop, and manage teams effectively

  • Ability to work in a production warehouse environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather

  • Ability to perform repetitive physical demands: continuous standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and fingers, grasping, reaching, climbing, or balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, crawling, pulling, pushing, working, and reaching overhead, using ladders or lifts, and frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more

  • Flexibility and dependability are required and must be willing to work overtime, off-shift, weekends, and holidays to support production needs

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 - $78,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
