The Role

As RTIC’s Creative Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of our brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you'll lead a multidisciplinary creative team across design, copy, content production, and brand strategy. Your mission: elevate our brand identity, connecting RTIC with culture, drive creative innovation, and ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across all touchpoints.

We’re looking for a strategic thinker, an experienced team leader, and a highly creative mind who can inspire fresh ideas, push boundaries, and deliver impactful work that resonates with a broad customer base. You’ll balance high-level vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for design and be a strong generator of ideas that connect with multiple audiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the creative vision for all brand initiatives—including web, digital, video, social, retail, packaging, and more—on a path to make RTIC a major household name

  • Identify opportunities to elevate the RTIC brand and create breakthrough cultural moments, using a test-and-learn mindset to connect with new and existing audiences

  • Oversee the integration of new creative tools and technologies to streamline processes and enhance output

  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to align creative with broader campaign strategies, performance metrics, and growth objectives

  • Leverage market research, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to inform creative direction and innovation

Key Responsibilities

  • Set a vision, set a bar, and deliver best-in-class ad and campaign work

  • Lead and mentor a talented, cross-functional creative team/internal agency, including designers, writers, photographers, and project managers

  • Manage project priorities and allocate creative resources in a smart way across multiple campaigns and initiatives

  • Review and provide feedback on creative work to ensure alignment with strategic goals and brand standards

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of relevant creative experience, ideally with leadership experience in an agency or in-house environment. Agency experience is a plus.

  • A strong portfolio of successful work across digital, social, paid media, print, and beyond

  • Proven experience developing full-funnel marketing concepts and bringing them to life from ideation to execution

  • Experience leading an internal creative team / internal agency and ability to manage, inspire, and grow a diverse team

  • Commitment to driving business results; experience in a performance marketing-driven environment is a plus

  • Comfort operating within budget while driving brand impact; ability to use internal team and efficient external resources in a smart way 

  • Experience working with consumer products and/or retail environments is a plus

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $210,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
