Join Our Team as a Full-Time Patient Coordinator! 


Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping families feel at ease? Children’s Dental Center in Sioux Falls is looking for a warm, energetic Patient Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental practice. Help us create a positive experience for kids and parents from the moment they walk in the door!


At Children’s Dental Center, we provide comprehensive dental care for children in a welcoming, kid-friendly environment. We believe in making every appointment stress-free, educational, and fun. As part of our team, you’ll be helping create bright smiles — and happy families.



Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and families as they arrive; make them feel welcome.
  • Answer incoming phone calls; schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
  • Assist families with new patient registration forms, insurance verification, and paperwork.
  • Explain treatment plans, services, and financial options in a clear, compassionate way.
  • Manage front desk tasks: check-ins/check-outs, payments, filing, record keeping, and follow-up communications.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize wait times.
  • Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and follow up as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy, professional, kid-friendly reception area.
     

Requirements

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or patient coordinator role (ideally in healthcare or dental)
  • Strong communication skills — able to speak clearly and compassionately to children and families
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills (scheduling software, electronic health records, Microsoft Office)
  • Positive attitude, warm demeanor, and ability to be a team player
