Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in our Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, business development, and account management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans while fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance on best practices in B2B sales and account management.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and lead generation initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular communication and product demos.
- Utilize CRM software, including Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze performance metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional strategies with sales objectives.
- Oversee territory management to ensure optimal coverage and resource allocation.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling and upselling existing accounts.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring high levels of customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales with a focus on B2B technology or retail sectors.
- Strong management skills with experience leading a team in a sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in business development, account management, and territory sales.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) for tracking leads and managing customer relationships.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations effectively to potential clients.
