Receptionist/ Cashier bei Inland Kenworth

The hourly rate for this position is $19.00- $22.00 per hour. The work schedule will be Monday- Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

THE OPPORTUNITY

As Receptionist/Cashier you will be the front-line contact with our customers answering phone calls and greeting walk-in customers. You will also be responsible for receiving payments and balancing receipts on a daily basis. 

This position is located at our sales and service dealership location in Castaic, California

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reception Duties:

•    Answers calls on multi-line telephone system.

•    Greets visitors and directs them.

•    Distributes incoming mail and faxes.

•    Receives customer payments.

•    Maintains petty cash box

•    Prepares daily bank deposits.

•    Prepares day sheets.

•    Arranges courier pickups.

•    Maintains professional appearance and neat work areas.

Cashier Duties:

•    Greets customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner.

•    Receives cash and handles cash drawer with accuracy

•    Runs credit and debit card machine.

•    Balances cash, checks, credit card payments and debit card payments daily (day cashier).

•    Processes customer checks and calls for approval.

•    Sorts and scans invoices

Other Duties:

•    Prepares daily parts and service invoices for mailing

•    Reviews cash schedules weekly

•    Files accounts payable invoices within accounting system (no accounts payable experience or knowledge required).

•    Files and scans paperwork as necessary.

•    Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual. 

•    Other duties may be assigned

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

•    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

•    One year’ related experience in a similar position 

•    Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

•    Great telephone manner and ability to represent the company well with excellent customer relations skills

•    Dependable and reliable and able to commit to the work hours for the position
