GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Manage defined geographical territory with goal of increasing sales and profitability in accordance with corporate goals. Requires serving accounts and identifying, marketing and selling new accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
•    Generate new business and monetize the Marketplace to hit budget goals.
•    Ability to master our processes, products, and value proposition. 
•    Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects and clients.
•    Develop a specific marketing plan (consistent with overall business unit plan) to grow existing territory.
•    Maintain and grow existing clients in the territory, including regular phone contact, periodic in-person meetings, and host meetings at CRL.
•    Help set up new clients and play a key role in their implementation. Stay in close contact with them throughout the process to clear obstacles, meet milestones, and secure the        expected business.
•    Collaborate with the Customer Support team to address customer support and system needs.
•    Work with the FormFox manager to perform site matches for new business and existing clients.
•    Work with the FormFox manager on recruiting new clinics in support of Marketplace opportunities and clients to grow our MP presence where there is a market need.
•    Work with the Integration team to introduce them to new Marketplace API projects.
•    Oversee additional projects as assigned.
•    Prepare for and attend industry meetings.
•    Manage travel budget for territory.
•    Determine training needs by traveling with sales representatives, observing sales encounters, and conferring with sales manager.
•    Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, making support readily available, and integrating support with routine job functions.
•    Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional                      organizations.
•    Exhibit and promote CRL culture and values.
•    Present a highly professional image on behalf of CRL to clients and prospects.
•    Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
•    Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.
•    Keep work area neat and clean.
•    Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE: Outside sales experience required.

OTHER:  Willingness and ability to travel 50% or more. Overtime and weekend work as necessary.
